This months blog hop challenge is "to use a Papertrey stamp set that has yet to see ink or even one that
might be collecting a little dust". I chose Tags for Spring (never used) and Background Basics: Retro (seldom used).
I can't seem to get enough of this color combo! I started with an A2 Hawaiian Shores card and stamped the background using PTI's White Ink. I used Mat Stack 3 die to cut a window out of the pattern paper from Green Boutique (I used it upside down--my tribute to Maile Belles). I mounted the pattern paper using dimensionals to the front of the card.
The focal image is from Tags for Spring and stamped in Hawaiian Shores on White cardstock. The focal is mounted to a piece of New Leaf cut with the Limitless Layers 1 die. Those are then mounted to the card. The sentiment is also from Tags for Spring and stamped in Versafine Black Onyx (my favorite). I finished the card off with a piece of New Leaf ribbon.
Thanks for checking out my card and I hope you enjoy the blog hop!
