Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge
Everyone celebrates the new year in their own manner - whether it's party hardy the night before or a football bowl fest the day of. These cards will help anyone ring in the new year with a smile.
We recently saw a blog entry from Kristina Werner where she had purchased a "cut" card with a wonderful sentiment (see her post here) and from that we took our inspiration. I sketched the ideas and Jessica built the SCAL file that we cut on our Cricut. If you are interested in the .scut file we will be glad to share it - just leave a comment on the blog.
Here's a couple of shots of the individual cards. We totally scraplifted Nichole's use of Scor-tape and glitter.

HNY: PTI Scarlett Jewel & Glimmer Gold cardstock, Fresh Alphabet stamp, Gold Ribbon. Other - gold embossing powder.
2011: PTI True Black cardstock, Me & My Big Ideas Black & White Butterfly pattern paper, Scor-tape, fine silver glitter, and white gel pen.
