Dawn’s challenge was indeed that—the colors really made me think. The image that kept invading my thoughts was the tee-shirts that were the inspiration so I had to force myself to go in a different direction.
I thought the colors were great together—very modern so I took my cue from that. I used PTI cardstock: the card is made from Dark Chocolate; the three squares are cut from Spring Moss, Lavender Moon, and Aqua Mist; and “Cool” was cut using my Cricut, from Raspberry Fizz. Each square as well as the Raspberry Fizz (before it was cut) have been stamped with VersaMark using PTI’s Background Basics: Retro. The chipboard letter stickers are American Craft Thickers Jewelry Box in dark brown.
Hope you enjoy!

I had wanted to do something with PTI's Star Prints stamp set and when I saw the new Embellish challenge I felt the two would work great together. I started with a 5.5 inch square card base in white (I used PTI paper throughout) and added the Enchanted Evening layer with the opening cut using Spellbinders circle die. It seemed like a lot of blue so I stamped the star using Versamark to break it up some. The focal point is a stamped star layered over a solid star punched from Pure Poppy. The sentiments are stamped in black on New Leaf and attached with yellow brads.

November Blog Hop
The holidays are going to be here before you know it! No matter how much planning you do, there always seems to be last minute gifts and wrapping to do! This month's Blog Hop Challenge is to create a quick & inexpensive wrap or tag that can be the perfect solution for "grab & go" gifts! We can't wait to see what you create!!!
I thought I would play along with this month's blog hop.
I have had PTI's containers for sometime and I immediately thought of making some gift tags to fit inside. The tags are 2.25 inch square with the corners rounded. I stamped a small red ornament from Vintage Ornaments and then stamped various patterned images and embossed with gold. One sentiments is from the Vintage Ornaments and the Noel sentiment is from the Signature Christmas. A quick, easy, useful gift.

I have always liked purple and even had a purple bedroom for a while (that didn’t last too long however). I’m a Leo so I think about the proud lion, king of his world, and am reminded that purple has always been a very majestic, regal color. Thinking along those elegant and formal lines, I wanted to do a sympathy card. Something very serene but not black for a change.
I used PTI’s With Sympathy stamp set and papers extensively for this, from the background embossed on PTI’s Plum Pudding card stock, to the flowers on Vintage Cream, to the sentiment on Lavender Moon. A simply tied black satin ribbon balanced the card and tied into the sentiment stamped in black.
Other supplies: Spellbinders long rectangles and clear embossing powder.
