Just Us Girls Challenge - Envy of the Envies - Birthday Card

A quick post to make the JUG's latest challenge.  This was a birthday card for my sister using Gina K's Retro Boutique and Basic Grey paper.

The purses are paper pieced and let me tell you Stamp-a-ma-jig is your best friend when working on pieces like this.  The Olivia paper was wonderful since it had such a small scale pattern paper with tons of color and pattern on one sheet.  I did some coloring and added pearls to make each purse fun.

I couldn't resist using the large stamp on the front of the envelope and it just fit!

The envelope liner was a little more challenging since the card and envelope weren't a standard size.  However I watched Gina's video and modified.

Thanks for checking out the card and I hope you played along with the challenge.

Stamps - Gina K: Retro Boutique
Cardstock - Basic Grey: Olivia and Urban Prairie
Ink - Versafine: Black Onyx (my favorite)
Other - Stamp-a-ma-jig and pearls
