TESC #133 and Play Date Cafe

This weekend I pulled a list of several challenges that were underway and decided to combine color and sketch challenges.  This post showcases a card I made using TESC #133 and Play Date Cafe.

Here is the card I came up with:

I used Tim Holtz French Market Place stamps and paper from various Basic Grey and Pinkpaislee collections.  Here are some of the specifics:

The Eiffel Tower from the Tim Holtz stamp set.

Tim Holtz' Tissue Tape that I picked up at CHA this summer.

See the subtle harlequin stamped using distressed ink and I finally found a use for the old epoxy domes that had yellowed from age--the muted color worked well for what I needed with this color palette.

This style was a little out of my comfort zone.  I love most things that Tim Holtz' does, a little of the grunge look, and the distressed look and it wasn't too hard to pull the pieces together.  I hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by,

Monica

Supplies:
Paper:  Basic Grey's Scarlet's Letter, Ambrosia, and Oliver and Pinkpaislee's 365 Degree
Stamps:  Tim Holtz' French Market Place
Inks:  Ranger Distressed Inks in Pumice Stone, Dried Marigold, and Vintage Photo
Other:  Tim Holtz Issue Tape and epoxy domes from stash
