As part of PTI's 4th Anniversary, their Make It Monday challenge was to create your "go to" sentiment using the same theme message or sentiment stamp--in various fonts--from your stamp collection. Here is what I made:
It is an easy layout and you can easily change out the colors to reflect your favorites. I used two neutrals (Fine Linen and Rustic White) and one bright or focal color (Raspberry Fizz). I used the largest Spellbinders Nestabilities circle dies that I had (standard circle large and small). You could use Martha Stewart's circle cutter for larger circles if the sentiments you are using are larger.
Numerous stamps sets were used to gather the "hello" sentiments: Big and Bold Wishes, Everyday Classics, Everyday Button Bits, Comminque Sentiments, Beyond Basic Borders, Beautiful Blooms, Friends 'Til the End, and Handwritten Notes. The dashed line from A Little Argyle was stamped in dark chocolate to create a background.
I tried to balance the raspberry fizz with stamping and layering and with the felt flower.
I hope you enjoy and have played along to find your own "go-to" sentiment layout.

PTI Anniversary Color Challenge
Day 5 of the Papertrey's anniversary celebration is a color challenge. I chose Ocean Tides-Ripe Avocado-Vintage Cream-Dark Chocolate.
I've been wanting to make a shaped card so I pick Nestibilities Label 8, cut two pieces of Ocean Tide cardstock. I used the Tin Type Impression Plate on the front piece.
I seem to keep using the Spiral Notebook Page die too.
I think it could use something else but I couldn't decide what that would be so I didn't add anything. Any suggestion on what I should add, buttons, ribbons, ???
Thanks for stopping by the blog,
Jessica

PTI - Anniversary Tags: Happy Birthday
This is my second post for the Designer Tags Contest. On this card I used Nichole's Happy Birthday Tag.
Thanks for checking out my card.
Jessica
Supplies are all PTI unless noted:
Cardstock - White, Ocean Tide, Blueberry Sky
Stamp - Hero Arts: Music Background
Ink - Ocean Tide
Other - Nichole's Tag, Blueberry Sky Ribbon, circle punch and die
I struggled at first because I wanted to put the tag on a Blueberry Sky Mat Stack 4. After playing for a while I moved in a different direction and use a background stamp and simple circle mats for the tag.
Thanks for checking out my card.

PTI Anniversary Tags--Using Dawn McVey
I'm playing along with PTI's Anniversary Day 2 challenge to use one of the designers digital "tags". I'm using Dawn McVey's--I love the colors she employed.
When we printed the images, the Hawaiian Shore ring around the outside of the tag appears more blue than I liked. So, once I punched it out, I cut it smaller using a 1 5/8th" circle die from Nestabilities and then layered it on a 1 3/4th circle punched from HS cardstock. If you look carefully at the photo below, you might be able to detect it.
To give a bit of separation between the white ribbon tag and the white skirt cut using the Banner Borders die, I inked the edges of the ribbon tag with HS ink.
I hope you enjoy the challenge and all the wonderful tags the designers have shared, free!!!!

PTI Anniversary--Favorites
PTI 4th Anniversary--Favorites Contest
I've pulled an entry that I did for Becky Oehlers' Compose a card challenge from March. It features the then-new PTI Violets stamp. I thought I would love coloring these flowers but I'm not so good at that. However, I do love how the stamp design (with narrow lines, dotted lines, and thicker lines) gives the flowers dimension without having to do anything else. Hope you enjoy the card and the PTI Anniversary fun!
Original Post:
Here is my latest installment of Becky's Compose a Card Challenge.
I followed the template closely using PTI Enchanted Evening cardstock and some Stone from my stash of paper. The ribbon is Enchanted Evening satin, the sentiment is from PTI's Mega Giga stamp set - I love the size of the sentiments in that set, the flowers are the new Violets from PTI. The white embossing is found in the sentiment. I added pearls to the center of the flower and distressed the stone cardstock.

PTI Favorite Contest - Thinking of You card
Hi folks,
I'm playing along with Papertrey Ink's Anniversary Contest and re-posting a favorite project of mine using their products. The original post is from June. I use we in the comments since my sister and I share this blog and of course have the same Aunt.
BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL POST
We recently had a great aunt come home from an extended hospital stay. We wanted to send her a card and combined several great ideas to create this "Thinking of You" card.
We found inspiration from PTI's June release blogs featuring the Tea for Two Additions stamp set. Also, a recent Clean and Simple posting provided color inspiration.
Here is a close up of the felt flower and the interior sentiment.
We also stamped a pair of spoons in Oasis Green on the front of the envelop and then, using PTI's die, cut a Tea Time tag in Kraft, stamped it in the Dark Chocolate, and ran it through the Zyron machine to create a sticker to seal the envelop. Sorry, we forgot to take photos of those but take our word for it, it was TEA-rrific!!
We hope that our Aunt and YOU enjoy this card.
Jessica
Supplies: (all PTI unless noted)
Paper: Ocean Tides, Vintage Cream, and Kraft. Pattern Paper - DCWV Linen Closet

Inks: Ocean Tides, Versamark, Versamagic - Oasis Green, Colorbox - Chestnut Roan
Other: Beautiful Blooms II die, Cuttlebug Flower die, Ocean Tides button, Vintage Cream felt, Tan felt from Michael's, and Rustic Cream twine.
