PTI & CPS Challenge

My sister and I decided to play along with this challenge.

 

Instructions: 

Create 5 x7 card from PTI: Cream cardstock

Cut mat out of pattern paper. and adhere to front of card.

Use spellbinders Label 13 and cut from Ocean Tides and pattern paper.

Adhere Ocean Tides to front of card.

Adhere Cream ribbon across middle of Ocean Tides.

Adhere pattern paper with dimensionals

Apply 2 brown pearls.

This is my first CPS Sketch and it was so fun to play along.

Instructions:
Create A2 card from PTI: Melon Berry Cardstock.
Cut a card front from Cosmo Cricket Earth pattern paper.
Stamp image on Melon Berry CS and cut with Rectangle Nestibilities.
Adhere strip of ribbon to pattern paper.
Adhere stamped image to card front with dimensionals.
Add buttons with glue dots.

PTI's Paint by Number Challenge

I decided to play along with PTI's latest challenge.  WOW this was a challenge for me.  I would never put these colors together, I guess that is why they call them challenges.

















Cut cardstock to challenge measurements.
Stamp sentiment
Punch Raspberry Fizz with border punch.
Punch strip of Terracotta tile with ribbon punch.
Assemble card.

Paper:: PTI - White, Ripe Avocado, Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest, and Terracotta Tile
Ink:  PTI - White
Stamps:: Inkadinkadoo - celebrate
Tool:: Martha Stewart Lattice Border Punch and Ribbon Punch

PTI Challenge Day 5 - Celebrate

My sister posted earlier and now it's my turn. Hasn't the PTI Challenges been a blast so far? And Nichole has hinted there is much more to come!

This card developed as I went along. Most the time I like to have a definite plan before beginning, so what do you think? I haven't fully decided myself.














Instructions:
Make 5 x 7 card from White cardstock.
Stamp the front of the card with damask background.
Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment on white cardstock with black ink, cover with clear embossing powder and heat. Cover the image with pink ink, the same color used for the damask background. Trim the image and mount first to a black mat and then a white mat.
Cut a ribbon tag and stamp Celebrate.
Thread the celebrate tag through the ribbon and tie black ribbon around card front.
Adhere happy birthday image front of card with dimensionals.

Supplies:
Paper: PTI – White, Black and a scrap of pink from my stash
Ink: Black pigment
Stamps: PTI – Damask Design and Inkadinkadoo – Happy Birthday
Embellishments: Black Ribbon
Tools: Embossing powder, Spellbinder’s Ribbon Tag Trio die

Day 5 PTI Challenge

I’ve been playing along with PTI’s Anniversary Celebration all week at Nichole’s blog. This card is from todays emboss resist challenge. I have to say that I admire the look but haven’t executed it before so here we go.


















Instructions:
Make an A2 card from Kraft cardstock. Ink edge of card.
Cut a 3 ¼ inch square of cream cardstock and stamp with background text.
Stamp the teapot image in Versamark and clear emboss.
Ink the edges of the cream square and over the teapot image.
Tie brown twine around bottom of cream square and add a button.
Adhere image square to card.
Stamp sentiment on bottom of card.

Supplies:
Paper: PTI – Kraft, Rustic Cream
Ink: Ranger Distress Ink Vintage Photo, Colorbox Chestnut Roan
Stamps: PTI – Background Basics Text Style, Tea for Two – Inkadinkadoo – Thinking of You
Embellishments: PTI- Button and Hobby Lobby Brown Twine

PTI's Birthday Celebration - Day 2

Happy Birthday PTI!!! I am so glad that you are here to support my card making habit.











Instructions:
1. Make a 3 ½ inch square card from Pink cardstock.
2. Use a scallop border punch on the front of the card.
3. Adhere a strip of chocolate cardstock to front of card to emphasize the border punch.
4. Punch small darker pink circles and adhere to front border.
5. Print Happy Birthday 2 YOU (HB2U) image on white cardstock and punch with
1 ¾ inch circle punch.
6. Emboss the HB2U image to create an epoxy look.
7. Punch 2” scalloped circle from Chocolate cardstock.
8. Adhere HB2U image to Chocolate scalloped circle.
9. Adhere ribbon to middle of card under image.
10. Adhere image to card front with dimensionals.

Paper: PTI – Chocolate, Making Memories – Pink and darker Pink
Embellishments: Dawn’s HB2U Image, Making Memories - Elements ribbon
Tools: Punches – 2” Scalloped Circle, 1 ¾ Circle, and Fiskar Scalloped Border

PTI's Birthday Card Challenge

I wanted to play along with PTI’s Birthday fun. I chose Heather Nichols’, aka Pine, image for my card. I hope you enjoy the card and played along.











Instructions:
1. Make A2 card from chocolate cardstock.
2. Stamp front of card creating a background of polka dots.
3. Print cupcake image on white cardstock and punch with square punch the round the corners with ¼ rounder.
4. Punch scallop square with 2 ¼ inch punch from Aqua Mist cardstock.
5. Cut a 5.5 x 1.5 inch strip of yellow and stamp with Happy Birthday sentiment
6. Adhere yellow cardstock to front of card
7. Adhere cupcake image to Aqua Mist scallop square and add rhinestone to candle flame.
8. Adhere image to card front with dimensionals.
9. Add 3 buttons since the card seemed to need something more.

Paper: PTI – White and Aqua Mist, Making Memories - Chocolate and Yellow
Stamps: PTI – Polka Dot Basics and Handwritten Notes
Ink: PTI – Vintage Snow and Color Box – Chestnut
Embellishments: Pine’s Image, PTI Holiday Mix vintage buttons and a Rhinestone from my stash
Tools: Punches – 2” Square and 2 ¼ Scallop Square, Corner Punch
