Kimono
Papertrey’s WCMD Challenge #1: Japan
For the Japan challenge, my thoughts immediately went to the idea of a kimono. I designed the kimono on 4X4 grid paper and then cut out a pattern that I used later.
I used PTI’s pure poppy and stamped it using the branch from PTI’s Beyond Basic Borders and a small flower from their With Sympathy stamps. I embossed it with gold. Using the pattern, I cut the kimono. I backed the kimono with a small piece of kraft paper from PTI. PTI’s pure black ribbon served as the kimono’s sash. I mounted the kimono on pattern paper from DCWV’s La Crème. Three red crystals and hand-written Arigato (thank you in Japanese) finish the card.
